We are sick and have passed away..

We have found that our goats cannot have the pellets that you feed to rabbits or guinea pigs. This causes stones in the kidneys and will kill goats.
At first we thought the goat might have worms really bad until we investigated the diet. We have been literally killing them with kindness, which isn't kindness at all.
We know too that this year the sunflower seeds, in some cases, that you buy have mold in them and this will also kill a goat. I have been told by a long time goat owner that in most cases if you find a goat sick, white gum's, sickly acting, you have from 24 to 48 hours before it dies. They are very intolerant of disease at all.
We now keep "Safe Guard"(tm) dewormer in our cabinet along with antibiotics in the refrigerator.
I should be getting the Nubian Goat Doe in a little while and she is breed to another Nubian that is an $800. goat..Hopefully all will go well..

These babies are so sweet and loving. They have been raised very well and so we have no bad habits such as head butting. They are so trust worthy around my grandchildren.
They are Larry, Bob, Billy, Hershey, Chip!!!

Barn cat, pheasant & Goats!!

Just a short time after putting the goats in one of the fields we got some really good shots, even a mushroom and pheasant were in the mix and of course the cat making himself to home.
We have been blessed abundantly and will be sharing many goat picture's here along with other barn yard antics!
